Ms. Rosa Lazaro, is excited to be joining the faculty at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, where she will be serving as an Assistant Professor of Theatre. Rosa recently finished her thirteenth season with the Tony Award winning Utah Shakespearean Festival. Prior to returning to educational theatre Rosa received her Masters of Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and served as Assistant Shop Manager at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. During her time at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival Rosa also designed costumes for several productions including the World Premier of Gee's Bend. Rosa spent the past year as a visiting faculty member with TAMUCC, during this year she designed costumes for Big Love, 1940's Radio Hour, and Merry Wives of Windsor. The American College Theatre Association recognized her costume design for Big Love. Rosa has enjoyed working with the students and faculty at TAMUCC and looks forward to many more productions.
